My habit is undeniable

My insanity insatiable

Music is restless

My soul shifts

Smoky nights beckon

Their sultriness entices

Pulling me away

From those who hold me

In heart and hands

Restraining my passion

Feeding others

Tending others

Managing others

My self forgotten
